Founded in 2015, Eir invests exclusively in health tech, partnering with companies and founders identifying novel solutions to some of the trickiest problems in the healthcare sector.
We look for products and services that leverage creativity and innovation to improve user experiences across healthcare technology. With our entrepreneurial roots and hands-on approach, we work to understand the true nuts and bolts of health tech to help businesses achieve greatness.
WE PUT OPERATIONS FIRST
Eir was started by entrepreneurs and investors who understand what it takes to build and grow a health tech business. Having spent our careers inside the types of companies we now support, we engage as true partners to management teams – bringing pattern recognition, judgment and execution support when decisions matter most.
We have built, scaled, acquired, integrated and exited healthcare businesses across payor, provider, pharma and services ecosystems. We believe in hands-on, collaborative and creative partnership. Eir is intentionally involved, highly selective and long-term in orientation.
HOW WE WORK
Strategy and execution go hand-in-hand. With a focus on active partnership and operational efficiency, each Eir investment is co-led by:
- An Eir Deal Partner, focused on strategic direction and capital stewardship, and
- An Eir Operating Partner, embedded in execution across finance, technology, go-to-market, human capital, and M&A.
We work closely with leadership teams to identify opportunities, remove friction and build scalable platforms capable of sustained growth.

OUR NAME
Eir is named after the Scandinavian goddess of medicine and healing. She represents discipline, clarity and resilience in the face of systemic strain.
As the healthcare industry faces structural pressure from rising costs, aging populations, regulatory complexity and accelerating global demand, perseverance and novel solutions have the power to change it for the better.
